Fall 2015 + Spring 2016, RPI
Fowl Play: Between Human and Nonhuman Environments
The book below is the result of RPI’s thesis research semester. This project explores material and theoretical research which culminates in a schematic proposal. The research focuses on an investigation of welding and historical technological research within the context of an anthroposcene-focused studio. This proposal challenges the idea that the urban landscape is separate from the natural one.
If the Issuu publication does not appear below, the thesis fall 2015 book can also be viewed here.
Images of the physical models and modeling process can be viewed on the Welding Exploration page.
